What We Do
EDF Group provides (but is NOT limited to) critical backup power solutions, sustainable stored energy solutions (we lead the market in introducing green Lithium Ion Battery technology), Critical HVAC solutions, Infrastructure IT hardware (server racks, environmental containment, power distribution, STSs, surge protection devices, security and monitoring devices), Infrastructure IT monitoring software, Fire Protection and Suppression (specializing in the data center environment, Industrial and OEM environment, and all commercial buildings), and Sustainable Building Materials, such as supplying (and installing - (proud union labor with strong minority owned partnerships) Raised Access Flooring Systems in data centers and commercial office spaces, Rooftop Raised Patio Paver Systems, and Complex Modular Steel Video Visitation Booths for Secure Housing Environments (Department of Corrections, Secure Border Housing Environments, Military and Government Institutions, etc.)
EDF Group also carries a GSA Novation, separating us from our competitors with small business protection in the government sector.
Our History
Since 1964, Bick Group has been providing critical facility infrastructure expertise, installation services, and ongoing customer support in the St. Louis metro market and beyond.
Engineered Designed Facilities – RG Computer was established in 1983 and has emerged as a leader in the design and construction of corporate data centers. EDF-RG has led the way in the St. Louis region and beyond in providing critical power and cooling services to its vast catalogue of customers, partners, and consultants.
Combined, with over 90 years of experience, these two companies will join forces and continue to provide an even greater offering of products, support, and consultation to the critical facilities and infrastructure marketplace. EDF-RG and Bick Group’s employees are dedicated to working with mission critical owners and operators across the US, ensuring that their specific business objectives are met.
When Engineered Designed Facilities (EDF) acquired Bick Group in 2020, the goal was two-fold. First, to diversify the new combined entity’s offerings and portfolio in order provide our customers and partners with a broader scope of our technical services; and second, strategically merge the two most experienced data center and critical facilities service providers and design teams this market has to offer.
At the beginning of 2023, EDF-RG LLC (EDF and Bick combined) fully realized the merger, and stood up by the company’s three vertical divisions, EDF Group was born.
